Internship

An internship is post-graduate training for veterinary graduates that consists of yearlong theoretical-practical training in which the graduate rotates through different services, allowing them to become familiar with various specializations of veterinary medicine. It is essential training if the graduate wants to go on to a residency program. At Ars Veterinaria we offer a clinical internship in small animal medicine.

The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) makes calls for placement in March and in September. Of the 23 total placements, 11 are for Ars Veterinaria. The internship programs start every half-year with 6 placements for Ars Veterinaria in May and 5 in November.
