Internados

Un internado es una formación de posgrado destinada a Licenciados en Veterinaria que consiste en un programa anual de formación teórico-práctico en el que se realiza una rotación por los diferentes servicios y permite familiarizarse con las diversas especialidades de la medicina veterinaria. Es una formación imprescindible a realizar si la aspiración futura es continuar con un programa de residencia. En Ars Veterinaria se realiza el internado en clínica de pequeños animales.

La convocatoria de plazas la realiza la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB) en los meses de marzo y septiembre. De un total de 23 plazas, 11 se destinan a Ars Veterinaria con inicio del programa de internado cada medio año, 6 en mayo y 5 en noviembre.

Internship in Veterinary Ophthalmology at AniCura Ars Veterinaria Veterinary Hospital, Barcelona, Spain

The Ophthalmology Service at AniCura Ars Veterinaria Veterinary Hospital is accepting applications from qualified individuals for a one-year clinical Ophthalmology Internship. This program is designed to provide an intensive clinical and surgical training experience in Veterinary Ophthalmology.

AniCura Ars Veterinaria Veterinary Hospital is a leading veterinary hospital dedicated to providing the highest standards of patient care since 1978. The hospital is comprised of more than 70 veterinary professionals including 12 European and American diplomates in different specialties (Dermatology, Neurology, Internal medicine, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Critical Care, and Surgery among others) and has active post-graduate training (internships and residencies).

The intern responsibilities include primary care of the ophthalmology patients and training in the medical and surgical aspects of Veterinary Ophthalmology. This program will begin May 3rd, 2021. The ophthalmology dedicated intern will work under the direct supervision of an ACVO diplomate (E.Abarca) and will join the two members of the Ophthalmology Service. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively in Spanish and English and will be involved in teaching seminars and be exposed to clinical research.

The Dermatology Service at AniCura Ars Veterinaria Veterinary Hospital is accepting applications from qualified individuals for a one-year clinical Dermatology Internship. This program is designed to provide an intensive clinical training experience in Veterinary Dermatology.
